FAQ
Questions people often carry before they reach out.
A calm place to reduce uncertainty, nervousness, fear of judgement, and confusion about therapy.
Before the practical details
You are allowed to arrive unsure.
You do not need to know the right words, the right diagnosis, or the right order to tell your story. These questions are here to make the first step feel less uncertain.
What if I do not know what to say?
That is completely okay. Many people begin with a feeling, a few disconnected thoughts, or the sense that something has become too heavy to keep carrying alone.
Do I need to know what I want from therapy?
No. Part of the work can be discovering what you need, what has felt difficult to name, and what might help you feel more like yourself again.
What if I am nervous on the first call?
That is understandable. The introduction call is brief, and you can pause, ask questions, or simply notice whether speaking with Aaron feels comfortable enough.
Are sessions confidential?
Yes, therapy is confidential, with professional limits around serious risk, safeguarding, and legal responsibilities. Aaron will explain this clearly before ongoing work begins.
Do you offer online or in-person sessions?
Aaron is based around Leeds LS18. Online, phone, and in-person options can be discussed during the introduction call, alongside current availability.
How much does therapy cost?
Fees are confirmed before ongoing therapy begins, so there are no surprises. The 20-minute introduction call is free.
